Casa Colibri is an independent eco-lodge with tastefully decorated adobe lodgings set among enchanting gardens.

We are a couple who enjoy providing hospitality. A year ago we left our jobs and changed our careers to make a cherished dream come true: to build a place we could open to fellow travellers from around the globe, with whom we could share our love for nature and fascination with Andean culture and tradition.

We have just six lodgings so we can cater for your individual needs. We provide a personal touch for travellers who visit this marvellous part of Peru.

We share many travellers’ concerns that tourism should benefit the local community: we work with village people as guides and we give direct support to local crafts people. Part of the income from the lodge subsidizes a project we are developing to improve young people’s job prospects through English language training.
